Positive, We had a lovely upgraded room overlooking the pool. It was clean and spacious with a large shower. The balcony was perfect. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds, and the walk to the promenade was easy. Definitely loved the apartment vibe ☀️

Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. All areas were very clean. Although the hotel is dated it is comfortable. When we arrived (early) our room wasn't ready. We were able to go to the poolside to wait and the manager came and found us with the room key when the room was available. Nice shaded areas around the pool when you need to get out of the sun and really pretty shrubs, a pleasant area with a small bar.
The hotel was opposite several bars that opened late and closed in the early hours. Although we weren't disturbed by noise, due to effective double-glazing, in the morning there was broken glass in the area in front of the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was good. The pool, terraces and gardens are well kept and inviting. We have stayed at the Hotel Flamingo several times over the years, each time we return improvements have been made. It offers great value for money and for us is a real home from home

We liked the friendly welcome and easy check in upon our arrival. The rooms all have balconies, although small, were adequate with a table and two chairs and our room overlooked the pool area. An outside bar and ample seating in this green area surrounded by trees with a fantastic view of the Roco Mara mountain is ideal for children, private, with one large pool and segregated children's pool. Sun loungers, parasols and small tables freely available for all. Rooms a bit dated but adequate with separate wardrobe incorporating a safe at a charge of 2 euro daily and optional. Small old fashioned box type television mounted on the wall with approx. 8 channels, two of which were in English, bbc World News and Euro News. Separate bathroom with shower a good size with plenty of white towels . The communal area of the hotel is well lit with nice furnishings, pictures and wall hangings. Bar/ lounge very modern with comfortable seating and a friendly atmosphere to relax in with friends. The buffet style breakfast was included in the price we paid and this was excellent with no shortage of food on offer. Amazing choice of cheese/ham/yoghurt/cereal/bacon/fried eggs/sausage/beans/tomatoes/omlette, not to mention toaster for white/brown bread/marmelade/fruit/cakes/croissants and unlimited supply of coffee and orange juice. The lunch and dinner is buffet style also but unable to comment as we were just b & B. Overall no complaints and we enjoyed our stay.
T.V. in the room should have a Sky channel and be a bit bigger in size and beds a little hard for me personally. No electric kettle or tea/coffee making facilities, which didn't effect me as I always bring my own anyway. Shampoo not supplied, only shower gel in sachets, so bring your own.

The area is perfect for kayaking and hiking. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and the nice reception area. It's close to activities like diving and kite surfing.
Our biggest issue was the noise level during the night from large groups, hard to sleep. The dining area also felt chaotic due to overcrowding.

The hotel was spotless, The staff very friendley. I had not been to the resort for over 12 years so I was a little bit worried about what it would be like. But when we got there nothing had changed and the hotel was brillant. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. I would stay at the hotel again.

The beds were comfy and the buffet-style food offered decent value for the cost, especially if you're just looking for something quick and filling.
The room dubbed as 'Superior' definitely didn't live up to its name-no double bed, thin walls making for a noisy stay, and several requests for cleaning fell on deaf ears. The dining experience felt more like a school cafeteria, chaotic and noisy, with large groups of non-residents taking over the space. And don't count on using the safe. Ours didn't even have a lock barrel.

Good value hotel, staff very pleasant. In-house restaurant was quite good, as was the breakfast. Not too far to walk to the beach/town centre, fairly quiet location with street parking available.
Can be quite noisy in the corridors, and room noise insulation could be better.
